As a trustee, I can influence budgets, processes, and policies, as well as make connections and build relationships between residents, school boards, local groups and local associations, and municipal, regional, provincial and federal governments.

I believe that as a trustee, with over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, as a driver, dispatcher, supervisor and senior management; we can, and need to improve:

The recruitment and retention of our school bus drivers
On-time performance (how often your bus arrives on time)
Communication to parents and students when a bus is delayed
Cleanliness of our busses
Consistency of rules and expectations for behaviour while on or waiting for the bus
Student psychological and physical safety while on or waiting for the bus
